I cannot believe how fast this month has gone by. At the beginning of the month, I joined YM Ministry for my monthly Saturday, but this time in a new location! YM has now expanded to another squatter community in Makati, which is in the business district of Metro Manila. As of right now, this ministry meets on the sidewalk not too far from one of the busiest overpasses. It was a fun-filled Saturday meeting new kids, teaching them about prayer, singing songs, and providing them with a much-needed hot meal. Because YM’s ministry is continuing to grow, their goal is to find a small house that they can rent where kids can come and receive extra educational skills and continue to receive a hot meal and be “fed” the Word of God.

A few Saturdays ago, the boys from the Home joined IT-Tender and YM Ministry, with about 40 kids total, for a field trip to a hands-on science museum. A generous donor paid for the admission of all the kids. In turn, they had a fun educational experience learning about dinosaurs, the solar system, plate tectonics, and even the brain's various functions. The boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were quite exhausted upon our return home.

Last Monday, I made a quick trip to Cebu, another island here, to visit and catch up with missionaries that Liberty Church supports and visit my Pastor from California speaking at various pastoral conferences throughout the island chain. It was a fun time of fellowship, some relaxation, and much-needed rejuvenation.
