In November of 2021, I became a certified Trauma Competent Trainer and Affiliated Trainer with Trauma Free World.

Trauma affects everything, a child's brain, behaviors, and how they form relationships. We want to make sure every child has a safe adult in their lives to help them recover and heal from childhood trauma.
Whether you are going on a short-term missions trip, work in children's ministry at your church, or work in the non-profit world and have a focus on kids, this training is for you!

You will learn what trauma is, how it affects children and adolescents and will be given tools/resources that can be used to work with and relate to kids with trauma.
