The Next Step

IIn about four weeks, I will be making my way out to Georgia. In all honesty, I never thought I'd be moving to the Deep South...it's humid, they have some pretty decent-sized bugs, and well, it's not the West Coast. Fortunately, after having lived in the Philippines and the Dominican Republic, I can handle humidity and stand my ground when it comes to bugs. The south has sweet tea, which makes everything better.

I have been praying about making a move for a few months now, and although I still have a huge desire to move overseas, I know it still isn't time for that. So Georgia, it is. It's the next step...the next stepping stone in my work and ministry, and I'm excited about what it may bring.

I am currently working on a rainwater harvesting project for our partner project in Kenya and putting together a nutrition campaign to benefit multiple ER programs and partner projects. We are also beginning to prepare for our Christmas Parties! One can never start planning too early.

Stay tuned as I plan to update you all during my drive across the US...

Prayer Requests:

• Please keep me in your prayers as I make my way to Georgia. I will be making a road trip out of it and visiting family & friends that I haven't seen in a while.

• I have yet to secure an apartment. Please pray that I will be able to find one at a reasonable price! I am excited to set up my place :)

• Pray that I will be able to find a church to get plugged into. I have a huge desire to join a small group/Bible study.

• Continue to hold up our partner projects and staff in prayer. Some of our team and leaders from partner projects will be making their way to Georgia next week to attend a global leadership training.

• I am praying for about 20 more people to partner with me at either $25, $50, or $75 a month. You may also make a one-time donation towards my move. Click on the "Donate" tab at the top of the page.
